How to make a bathroom shower accessory list

Well this isn't too difficult. You just have to imagine yourself in the shower doing the things that you normally do in the shower. There are some obvious things like somewhere to put the soap and the sponge and the shower gel etc. and there are some not so obvious things that you might want to consider outing on your bathroom shower accessory list.

Some of the more obscure bathroom shower accessories include a waterproof entertainment device like a radio, CD or MP3 player so that you will never be without your music. You might also want to find somewhere to put any cleaning sprays or sponges to encourage regular cleaning after taking a shower.

Your bathroom shower accessory list will depend a little on the type of shower unit you decide on. If you have a shower over the bath then places to hold soap and sponges might come as part of the bath so you may not need to duplicate. However I'm going to make a list of all the accessories that I can think of to get you started. It won't be a complete list and you probably won't want to get everything on the list but you can use it as a start.

Soap holder
Sponge rack
Entertainment system - Radio, CD etc
Shower stool
Free standing shower caddy for shampoo, conditioner, sponges etc
Over the door shower caddy for shampoo, conditioner, sponges etc
Grab bars to hang on to help to open doors

Conditioner dispenser

When you get to the showroom with your list you are going to be faced with that impossible problem again - choice. There will be lots to choose from and I hope that you will have fun. I personaly find it very difficult because I always want to make the right choice but there is no right choice is there? To narrow it down a little I have a policy of only using simple chrome accessories in the bathroom. I think it looks stylish enough and it removes some of the choice. So when you walk into the bathroom showroom think to yourself "accessory bathroom chrome" and you can't go wrong.
